I swear there use to be a block that looked just like endstone ??

Like, if you mined endstone before beating the dragon, it would be a different block. It would just have a different name and couldn’t be stacked with endstone. 

But I can’t find anything on it ?? Does anyone else remember this or what the block was called? This is really distressing.
