They’re rare; but it’s the same ones over and over again. The same vision of his parents being obliterated by the blast of a bomb, or bullets ripping through their bodies, followed by the destruction of everything he loves. Finnegan copes with nightmares by going on air. There’s a very clear shift from the prerecorded messages he has set for the late night listener to the post panic/sob that lays heavy in his voice. He plays softer acoustic music to ease his nerves.

A deep blush and a look of shame crosses Finnegan’s visage. The pain that radiated beneath his clavicle felt like more than a bruise — he overreacted, asking Benny ‘oh god, did I break something? Am I bleeding? Does this look okay?’ etc.

“I — ah — is that so?” Trying to play off his initial panic, he titters nervously - releasing his shirt collar to hide the fresh contusion, “That’s… That’s good. Very good. Good to hear, good to know. Good.”

A deep growl grew in her chest as the grips of the ones she once called her brethren tightened around her arms. “Don’t call me Kitten,” she said through gritted teeth. She moved to try and get the hands around her arms to loosen but, they moved and pushed her arms back. Blake let out a small grunt of pain.

Her eyes glared daggers at him. “It’s not obsession,” she spat.”It’s called doing what’s right.”
