▌real name: lorenzo scarlatti ▌single or taken: single ▌abilities or powers: as a laestrygonian, lorenzo counts with powers that he prefers not to divulge -- even to other supernaturals. however, for the purposes.of the headcanon, i’ll mention them: enhanced lifespan, enhanced durability, enhanced strength, enhanced healing, and skin theft. he’s mortal, but if he plays his cards right, he can live up to thousands of years. as for abilities -- he’s a remarkable painter, illustrator, and tailor/fashion designer. he knows how to act, and direct, shoot, and edit film. he’s also a very good cook. and more well versed with gun-handling/knife-handling/combat than you might expect. ▌eye colour: blue. ▌hair colour: brunette. ▌family members: he’s politically related to the marconi family. ▌pets: a savannah cat named artemisia. not after the goddess (though it’s a bonus), but after artemisia gentileschi. ▌something they don’t like: dolce and gabbana, as in the brand, but also as in the founders themselves. he’s gone on record to say he thinks their clothes are overdone and they are terrible people, to much controversy. he also finds wearing bike shorts/spandex in general outside of sports/exercise situations to be unacceptable, but honestly if we get into the topic of fashion opinions we’re never going to wrap this up. ▌hobbies/activities: cooking, trying out new foods, traveling, watching films, drawing just for enjoyment’s sake, dancing, exploring, hiking, running/jogging, swimming, et al. ▌ever hurt anyone before: yes. ▌ever killed anyone before: yes. ▌animal that represents them: an octopus. ▌worst habits: he lies... a lot. ▌role models: there’s many figures in the industry whose work and ethic he happens to admire but none that he would call a role model. he doesn’t believe in role models, for that matter, outside of familial relationships. ▌sexual orientation: bisexual. ▌thoughts on marriage/kids: it’s something that is not out of the question for him. ▌fears: he’s afraid of failure more than anything, which he freely admits. and once he’s done something and it turns out great, he’s looking at what he can do next. basically, he’s never satisfied. he’s also afraid of dying poorly dressed. ▌style preferences: depends on the time and depends on the place. times wise -- he has a morning look, a midday look, an evening look. place wise -- he has a home look, a city look, which is the same as his work look, and a country look, with indoor/outdoor variantions. as it stands they’re all expensive and they’re all recognizable, and i’ll get into the details in its own post, but picture him in his city look most often: a suit, usually dark, with or without a tie (it depends), always form fitting. ▌someone they love: he loves his cat. he also loves olivia, his ex -- to this day they remain intimate friends still. ▌approach to friendships: lorenzo tends to strike as intimidating, and not without reason. he has a very imposing, provocative, piercing kind of demeanor at first glance, when in actuality he happens to be very soft spoken, very mild-mannered and reasonable when not irritated. he’s friendly, and enjoys relationships he can find mutually-stimulating. he might not talk to you every day, though, and you must accept that. he’s very busy. but he appreciates you nonetheless. ▌thoughts on pie: caramel pie is amongst his favorite desserts. ▌favourite drink: in this order -- water. vodka. wine. limoncello and coffee (he prefers iced coffee, strong enough to keep an elephant awake). ▌favourite place to spend time at: his bathtub, in complete silence and darkness save for a single lone candle -- unless, of course, he has company, but he uses baths for reflection more often than not. then, his various offices. then his art study, which is different than his office. then the beach. ▌swim in the lake or in the ocean: both are fine with him, though he prefers the ocean. ▌their type: people that he can learn from, for the most part, that have interesting things to say and experiences that may or may not be similar to his own, and who have an appreciation for beauty too. ▌camping or indoors: he likes both, but he will more often be found indoors.
