Omg I agree! It was so well done, I appreciate the attention to detail so much, and I agree, both their performances were amazing, honestly standouts in each of their careers and compared to some of their other films (including Scorsese's) I feel like it's not talked about enough? Like it was definitely popular and won Oscars, so it's not like it's hurting lol, but the range of emotion, damn.

Hm... She didn't have any skin conditions (that I know of), so I'm guessing it might be her freckles? She used to hide them with makeup, but I don't think she bothered anymore at that stage in her life.
