Thank you, Sleuth, for taking your time to answer my questions. :) I'm quite sorry I attacked you with question but I hope you understand..I spent more than half a day reading many articles of yours and I was quite curious. I have a question for you, more or less personal...Are there any practices from ASOUE that you find yourself doing? For example, I've begun to think of my personal notebook as a commonplace book (as well as storing information in there, but that's not really new/unusual)

I try not to get too personal on this blog but I can say I’ve never really owned a commonplace book (though I’ve tried many times). My Snicket books are extensively scribbled, however. I have no plans to get a VFD tattoo as tattooed people in this series lead pretty miserable lives all things considered.

A practice I got from ASOUE is Violet’s perusing technique from “The Miserable Mill”. Very practical to skim through complicated texts!
