I think that is very likely that in some far future a nuwho fan is going to become the new showrunner and will make an episode bringing back Belinda in an attempt to fix how her departure from the show and relationship with The Doctor was handled.
Broke: Bob killed Laura Palmer
Woke: Leland killed Laura Palmer
Bespoke: a combination of capitalist greed and american individualism in which the whole town of twin peaks is rooted on just like the rest of the united states is what killed Laura Palmer.
Quebecois: J. Robert Oppenheimer killed Laura Palmer
I think the real issue with season 2 of twin peaks is that there wasn't any weird homoerotic tension between Cooper and Windom Earle. You're telling me Windom is his ex best friend turned arch-nemesis who in over the top and sadistic ways sees everyone and everything as a fun game of chess? And there isn't anything fruity going on? You're telling me it's more popular to ship Cooper with Harry who he shares a healthy and happy bond with? Blasphemy. They could have been the original lawlight, the usamerican toschei, they had the opportunity right in front of them and they allowed it to pass.
Extremely basic take but 'Heaven Sent' might just genuinely my favorite Doctor Who episode. It truly feels like lighting in a bottle, something unique and special that the show has never been able to replicate before or since. It's by far the one I've spent the most thinking about after all.
I know everyone and their mothers have made this criticism, but I don't think it can be stated enough how insane it is to introduce Belinda as this independent woman and then at the last minute rewrite her entire character to be about being a mother to Poppy from Space Babies. Like, what was the actual thought process here.
I wasn't too into the new Doctor Who episode but Ncuti Gatwa completely ate those two scenes with him. Making him such a sentimental makes any scene where he gets angry and cold hit so much harder.
The Chappell Roan biopic that will be made in like 30 years is gonna be crazy.
