soup ! !

my soup from the other day ( 02/18/26 )

homemade chicken soup ! ! ꒰ᐢ. .ᐢ꒱₊˚⊹

made this soup last night

ingredients;

° bone-in chicken ( any works, i used a two wings, a breast and a leg { i think ? ? } this time )

° 1/2 a leek ( greens and whites )

° an apple

° 6 cloves of garlic

° ginger to taste ( i forgot to add mine this time )

° 1 carrot

° 3 red dates

° salt to taste

° black pepper to taste

° 4-6L water

just throw the chicken in a pot until it starts to brown up a bit, then throw in the leeks and garlic for 2 minutes, then add the carrot and apple with a pinch of salt. once everything softens up a bit, add the water and bring to a boil for about 40 minutes to an hour. reduce to a very low simmer for at least 30 minutes, ideally overnight.

have as is or eat with rice / noodles :3
