『転校生』でも『君の名は。』でも中身が入れ替わった男女は「男/女 の自分が 女/男 の身体の中にいる」と瞬時に認識する。性別とは身体の形状より先にまずは心がどう自認しているかの問題だと僕らシスジェンダーでも潜在的に理解できているはず。でなければこれらの映画は成立しない。
