Another recommendation I would love to share is 3Cat, a newer cafe that recently opened in the Convoy area. Visiting this location brought a strong sense of nostalgia because there is also a 3Cat in Orange County, where I am originally from. The familiarity made the experience feel warm and welcoming, which is why I want to recommend it to others, especially college students who are always on the lookout for new matcha spots to try. 3Cat offers a wide variety of drinks, with many options focused on matcha. However, one thing to be aware of is the parking situation. Since it is located right next to Keep Coffee, the parking lot tends to fill up quickly. Most customers usually end up finding street parking nearby, so it is a good idea to allow a little extra time when planning your visit. Among the standout drinks, the Matcha Mochi is definitely a fan favorite. It does not have a super strong or earthy matcha flavor but instead offers a sweeter, more balanced taste. This makes it enjoyable for people who are new to matcha or prefer something less intense. Another refreshing option is the Coco Matcha, made with coconut water and topped with a layer of matcha foam. It is especially popular on warm sunny days and delivers a light, tropical twist. While there is a fair amount of seating inside, it is not the most ideal environment for studying. Most people go there to chat and hang out with friends, so it tends to get a little lively. Still, it is a fun spot to relax and try something new, especially if you enjoy creative drinks. A few other drinks worth mentioning include the Mango Mochi and the Avocado Mango. The Mango Mochi is a milky slush filled with mango chunks and syrup at the bottom, along with a soft, chewy mochi texture. It might sound unusual at first, but the combination is delicious and has a texture that is similar to boba, just a bit more delicate. The Avocado Mango is another surprising favorite. It is a creamy avocado smoothie with sweet mango chunks that creates a unique blend of richness and sweetness. One thing I really appreciate about 3Cat is the attention to detail. The staff clearly take pride in what they do and carefully prepare each drink with precision. While they also offer other beverages like fruit teas and milk cheese drinks, I always find myself going back to the Matcha Mochi or Mango Mochi. These are the types of drinks I could enjoy again and again without ever getting tired of them.
