i like it when the show takes a second to remind you that sam's still a weirdo among hunters
6.16 is so funny
dean disappeared after shooting gwen (while possessed by a parasite), and sam threatens samuel. His cousin was there, dead, but sam just looked at samuel and said: "i want him alive, samuel, or i'll put a bullet in your head"
they find dean in the warehouse, samuel and rufus are pointing their guns at dean, and dean points his gun at them (specifically at samuel). Sam then arrives and POINTS HIS GUN AT samuel, and he's pointing it at him the whole time. 😭 It's all so brutal. The two grandsons of that bald old man want him dead
later, samuel and dean are staring at each other with murderous looks. The old man gets up, and sam gets up, creating a wall between samuel and dean, who's sitting down. My bro ISN'T PLAYING AROUND. STAY BACK.
Buffy the Vampire Slayer | 6.16 “Hell's Bells”
Last Day on Earth
6.16 to 6.17 also cuts back to Sam’s tendency to distance himself from emotional moments with Bobby and rely on Dean to handle such things. In 6.16, when Bobby is possessed by the Khan worm, Sam and Dean have to shock him until they fry the worm inside his skull. Dean has to be the one to wield the live wire and Sam has to turn around because he can’t watch. Then in the opening of the following episode, the brothers watch Bobby polish off one bottle of liquor and open another in the wake of Rufus’s death, and instead of speaking up himself, Sam glances at Dean and whispers, “Say something.” Dean whispers back “You” and Sam balks, whispering, “No!”
