We continue with our series #DealingWithPeerPressure today. And it's my turn to share tips after everyone gave their opinions yesterday. So flow with me below 👇 These are few ways to know the difference between peer pressure and your friends giving you an extra push. . . YOUR FRIENDS MUST RESPECT YOUR PROCESS. The first thing you have to ask yourself or look at is if the people you're with really understands and respect the process you're going through to become the person you want or they're the kind of people that just want you to cut corners and just get to one destination. This is the first thing you have to watch out for -- if the way they are pushing you defiles the process you have to go through, then that's the kind of pressure you should do without. . . THEY MUST BELIEVE IN YOUR POTENTIALS. Peer pressure is not only when they want you to do some certain things with them, it's also when they don't want you to do the things you need for yourself too. If you notice that your friends talk you down when you bring up your dreams, they don't give regards to your abilities, then anything else they are going to ask of you is going to be outside of your purpose in life -- this is the time to manage your time better and spend it less with those ones -- if they don't believe in what you can do with your potentials, they will try to make you do what you shouldn't be doing. . . ARE THEY PUSHING YOU TO LIVE ABOVE YOUR MEANS? Look, if the answer to this is yes, then you have to quickly move. I don't have to say much here anymore. They know you don't have money for those parties and bottles but they are pushing you to go for it always, calling you names when you say you're broke? Sis, it's time to move. They don't want the best for you -- the perception of the big person they want off you is to build up their own ego that they are rolling with you. You will do better when you leave. . .
