oh god It would be, wouldn’t it.

And the thing is, eventually the footage of Steve on the news would include very alarmed looking Avengers trying to corner him and bring him home– to no avail, because Steve is a goddamned supersoldier and even stoned out of his mind and in rollerblades he’s able to pull those impressive pirouettes and parkour himself barely out of their grasp. The whole ordeal lasts about 3 hours. The footage plays every year on the 4th of July because it might just be the most patriotic thing modern society has ever seen.
