It's quiet. Too quiet.
And it was something that he was used to, but it felt as if there were eyes in the shadows, observing his every move as he made his way back toward his current hideout spot. Thankfully, he was ready for any sort of situation to spring up on him this time around that even if he led someone over there, they wouldn't be able to tell anybody once he'd be done with them.
His metal left hand was hovering his holster as he stopped for a moment, carefully listening. Steps that were barely audible - he knew a few people capable of that but most of them wouldn't dare to that around him, unless they knew him on a more personal level.
He exhaled through his nose, closing his eyes for a moment before tilting his head back as he reopened them.
“Ever get tired of sneaking about?” James' voice was low but loud enough for the other to hear. “Didn't expect you to be crossin' paths with me so soon again.” // @agentvdova . sc .
