Trella didn't stick to one college, she dabbled in all three! She had gone in with the usual intent of sticking to a major and focusing, specifically within the college of statistics, but when she met Ceara there she became fascinated and enamored with the sylvari's love of variety and of learning everything. She ended up embodying the phrase "jack of all trades, master of none, but better that than a master of one" and bounced around as Ceara did! Ended up landing in a favored field of toxicology!

Hastigi's primary language isn't the common tyrian, it's jotun! She learned krytan nearly alongside it, but having grown up in a jotun camp it never was the priority. She's got a heavy accent!

Taomesin is both a daredevil and a deadeye! Their two weapons are in fact staff and rifle, with some throwing knives kept on their person at all times for emergencies and quick thinking. They do not typically use any of the basic thief weapons.

Sad one for you about Trella because it just hit me too✨️

A known fact is that Trella and Ceara were girlfriends. They'd met when the sylvari came to Rata Sum to try and explore the colleges, and the two grew closer fast and Trella helped her make a lot of progress through the barriers put before the lone sylvari student before Ceara dropped off the map entirely. It was devastating to learn what became of her when Scarlet Briar surfaced, and moreso when Trella had to kill her to stop things and it was for nothing anyways as the drill struck.

The way Omadd's machine took her beloved haunts her...but even moreso, it's tied to survivors guilt ever since when she stepped inside the machine herself in lws2. She hadn't even intended to, she saw it start up and needed to save Taimi from going through what Ceara had. And she figured once she was trapped that she would go through the same misfortune as her late girlfriend.

But she didn't. She came out of it with her mind intact, with nothing whispering and haunting the recesses of her mind, and with ample support to talk through the visions with. She survived Omadd's machine where Ceara couldn't and it fucking haunts her just as much as Mordremoth haunted the young sylvari.
