now to answer your question,, tbh i don't think im the right person to ask cause im terrible at explaining and my english isnt the best so i'll just leave some resources that helped me.

my understanding of anatomy used to suck really bad until i read this book:

when i read it i start to understand how things worked and everything started to made sense :]

another helpful book is Figure Drawing, Design and Invention by Michael Hampton.

& Lezhin TACO Point Character Drawing

Morpho Anatomy books and Design Your Own Anime and Manga Characters book by TB Choi are very good too ^_^!
