He scoots across the couch to jab u in the leg as he sings. Without pants you can kiss your leg skin goodbye.

I had to say goodbye to my boi Ailum today at 2 1/2 years old. He had a steep decline in quality of life to where he could no longer be exercised without being in pain and even just taking it easy at home left him in extreme discomfort. He became anxious and emotionally sensitized to everything in and outside the house... and the last few weeks even with pain management were hard on him. We made the decision to euthanize despite weighing out a few options.

Today was a good day for him... he was bright and alert and acted much like his quite goofy self. He was bouncy and bubbly at the clinic and checked in with me as if to say “look mum at how good I was! I did all the things they asked me to! I deserve a cookie, can we play?” He was my shadow... and he was my husbands best buddy, getting along like two peas in a pod..

he was my FIRST dog... he was my boi... and I’m devistated. We had one final run this morning and it was the best run we ever had. My breeder... expressed a bit ago after another persons dobie passed“it’s not the length of time, it’s the quality of time we have with them...”. This isn’t good enough... this is not acceptable.... breeders who do nothing to better the breed because they “are willing to let the Doberman go to its future with dignity, whatever that future may be”
