VALENTINES POST! HOW MY SHIPS HOLD EACH OTHER'S HANDS HCS: NEWSIES EDITION
(disclaimer: not limited to hand holding, will include any form of affection that involves arms + will involve my rarepairs 😅)
Javid: arms!!! around!!! each!!! other!!! We've all seen Jack Kelly, aka our tactile king™, but yeah jack would definitely have his arms around davey's shoulder all the time. davey also wraps his arm around jack's torso sometimes, especially when jack's arm is around his shoulders, but he also has it around jack's shoulder when he gets to do it before jack lol. additionally, david will 100% rest his chin on jack's shoulder all the time. probs will put one hand on jack's shoulder then rest his chin above it. when they're alone, jack gently caresses that face on his shoulder, with the back of his fingers and not with his thumb
Ralbert: not much of hand holders since these two walk so damn fast but when they're seated, they would have a full on finger clasping hand holding in the space between them in the train moment. until albert's palm gets sweaty or race becomes restless. whichever comes first
Spot/Crutchie: not full on clasps but some soft finger links/clutch on the other's fingers like this. they're like really gentle and rarely squeezes each other's hands, they just wanna let the other know "hey im here"
Jojo/Albert: I hc them as the type of couple that don't seem romantic when there are other people around but have infinite tenderness with each other when they're alone, the ones that act like bros with friends but are surprisingly clingy to each other when they're in their safe space. WITH THAT BEING SAID, they link arms all the time in public, a lot of elbow brushing when sharing jokes but when alone or feeling especially tender atm, they would hold hands, full on clasps but no squeezing, just albert running his thumb on the back of jojo's palm. they would also be those couples that when holding hands, one of them pulls their joined hands and rests it on the top of their thigh (usually albert, but jojo would do it too)
Jojo/Elmer: idk why but i hc them as those couples that hold hands underneath the table. no intertwined finger, just hand clasps. they're also the type of couple who swing their arms when hand holding while walking
Romeo/Specs: LOTS OF LINKED ARMS! romeo basically clings onto specs' arm just because he could. no space between them when they do it.
Sprace: not much of a hand holding couple but one of them always has their hand on the other, be it spot's fingers combing race's hair or race's hand on spot's thigh as they watch TV, they're always touching each other
Spot/Sarah: spot's hand on sarah's back i don't think i need to say more
Newsbians: arm links, full on hand clasps, gentle finger links THEY DID IT ALL!!!! they love holding each other's hands, they just do! they have walks all the time after work to spend time together and they always link hands!!! tenderly!! katherine loves squeezing sarah's hands once they start hand holding and sarah is the type to squeeze kath's hand before she lets go. that's all. these girls are made for each other yes thank u
Henry/Buttons: they used to only link fingers because henry never wanted to push buttons but when button started to full on intertwine their fingers, holding his hand firmly, they never went back to cutesy finger links.
Davey/Spot: no intertwined fingers ever, just davey (mostly) holding two or three of spot's fingers gently. sometimes swing their arms when they're alone just because they're the secretly romantic/adventurous type of couple when alone

JOJO SIGHED AS HIS PHONE BUZZED FOR THE MILLIONTH TIME. He reluctantly took it from his pocket, scanning the screen to check the notifications. It didn’t surprise him that almost all of them were from his friend, Albert.
It was July 4th, and JoJo was unwillingly participating in a family celebration at his house. He’d rather be out partying with his own friends - if he was going to be honest, he just wanted to hang out with Al.
The two had promised each other that they would get together on the 4th, with Albert hinting that they’d go party-crashing at random places. It intrigued JoJo more than he wanted to admit.
JoJo opened one of the fifteen texts Albert had sent, reading over them. He sighed, rolling his eyes. Albert knew that an excessive use of emojis bothered JoJo, and he’d been sure to include several of them in his recent texts.
JoJo’s fingers flew across the screen as he typed his response to Albert’s texts.
> JoJo I might not be able to get away tonight, sorry
> Albert Aha, you finally responded. Wait, why?
> JoJo Family stuff… we’ve got a party going on
It was a minute or two before Albert responded with a series of crying-face emojis. JoJo’s eyes narrowed.
> JoJo If you promise not to send too many emojis, I’ll try and get out of this.
> Albert 👌👌👍👍👌👌👍👍
> JoJo This is the last time I let you do that
> Albert
> JoJo Where the hell did you get that emoji
> Albert Meet me outside your house in ten minutes and I’ll tell you
JoJo bit his lip. Now another reason to go party-crashing with albert was added to the list: finding out where Albert had received a dab emoji.

“Okay, I’m here,” JoJo sighed, turning to face Albert, who was sitting cross-legged on the front lawn of JoJo’s house, plucking at the blades of grass.
“Good!” cheered Albert, glancing up at his friend. “Now, let’s go ruin some parties.” JoJo held up a palm.
“That’s not what I agreed to,” JoJo reminded him. “I only came out here because I want to know where on earth you got such an awful emoji.”
Albert grinned. “That’s what you get to find out as soon as you come with me,” he said. Seeing the look that JoJo gave him, Albert’s smile faded. “I’m sorry if I’m bugging you too much about this. You just… you did promise.”
Reluctantly, JoJo agreed. “I did,” he admitted. He pulled out his phone from one of his pockets and started to type, the faint sound meeting Albert’s ears.
“What’re you doing?” asked Albert, cautiously raising himself onto his feet. JoJo held the phone away from Albert, still typing. “Hey, come on! What’re you doing?”
The typing ceased and JoJo brandished his phone, showing it to Albert. “Telling my mom that I’ll be back before 10,” said JoJo. Albert looked first from JoJo’s phone to JoJo himself, his smile splitting his face.
“Awesome,” he whispered. He shoved a thin piece of paper into JoJo’s hand. “List of people from school who have parties tonight. Who’re we gonna hit first?”
“Where did you get this?” asked JoJo, his brows raised.
“I have sources,” Albert said. “They’re also the same sources I got that dab emoji from.” JoJo sighed.
“It’s never answers with you,” he said, shaking his head. “Now, how about we head to Tony Mills’ place? I heard he usually hosts some pretty big parties.”
Albert raised a fist, looking to receive a fist-bump. When JoJo didn’t provide, Albert let his arm drop. “Tony Mills? You’re definitely talking my language now,” he said, excitement pitching his voice up an octave.
JoJo shrugged. “I’m becoming more fluent as time passes,” he said. “Though trust me, I’m backing out of learning if I find out that your language requires frequent usage of emojis.”
Albert patted JoJo’s shoulder. “If you don’t want to use emojis, you can make up for it with a daily supplement of Fortnite dances,” he suggested.
JoJo’s eyes went wide with horror as he shook off Albert’s hand. “No,” he hissed. “Anything but that.”
Albert gave JoJo a mocking look of astonishment. “You mean… none of this?” He demonstrated with a slow version of what JoJo believed was called ‘hype’.
Hiding his little knowledge of the dances and their names behind an annoyed face, JoJo grunted. “None of that,” he confirmed, reaching out to wrap his arms around Albert’s shoulders from behind, preventing him from continuing. “None at all.”
Albert sighed, his head lolling back against JoJo’s chest. “Fine,” he said, his hands coming up to grab JoJo’s wrists. “But if we’re going to a Tony Mills party, you can expect a lot of those.” JoJo winced.
“We’re going,” he said. “And I am going to make sure neither of us get drunk.”
Albert slipped out from JoJo’s arms. “Where’s the fun in that?” He skipped along the sidewalk, heading towards his car - or, more accurately, his brother’s car.
“There’s plenty of fun,” JoJo called after Albert. “Like not landing in jail.”
“Jail’s fun!” Albert responded loudly. “You should try it some time!”
JoJo buried his head in his hands.
1963 ALJO Sportsman Travel Trailer Camper.
This is a very cute little camper. It's had a few upgrade repairs along with a rubber roof added to better handle the weather. It's had new tongue & groove pine installed on the inside. The wheel bearings have been cleaned and packed with fresh grease. The exterior has been left original. This cute little camper has had the wheels painted and new tires & hubcaps installed. Also all the lights work and a pigtail wire was added so you can have the exterior lights on while camping if wanted. All items in the camper along with the awning are included. This is a basic sleeper with no A.C. & no toilet.

Let’s talk about Aljamain Sterling. “And Still” the bantamweight champion. Won by decision against Petr Yan last night at UFC 273. My question is, why did people doubt Aljo? He is one of the best in that division. As you know his last performance was a victory due to the disqualification of Petr Yan. Yan made the decision to hit Aljo with an illegal knee. Aljo also had a reason why Sterling vs. Yan 1 went that way, it was because he had a bad recovery from the weight cut. The MMA community has a problem with downing someone who has a controversial loss or victory. The community rips into these fighters as they fight in a cage or something. Half of these people wouldn’t take the time to hit the gym. I just hope people realize fighters won’t win every fight. These guys are a different breed they put lives on the line. It is their passion to step in there and go to war.
