Alsera's actress really said "I would love to fake die in Josha's arms."
"You will harvest my garden when they are ripe. Only then will your toh be repaid, Rand al'Thor." Josha Stradowski as Rand al'Thor and Julie Van Leeuwen as Alsera//The Wheel of Time S3E6: "The Shadow in the Night"
Josha’s performance is on point. This scene is breathtaking, in a sad, terrifying, tragic way...
alsera. we have our first name for rand’s list.
Here is what I need. I need someone to write multiple chapters wheel of time story from season 1 to season 3 about a Little feral! Alsera a young maiden in training sneaking off without permission to cross the Spine of the World to search for the Car'a'can because she thinks ready to take on something big. Then I need her to run into Girl Dad Rand Al'thor (and later in season 2 unwittingly Girl Mom Lanfear) who saves her from a cage like Perrin did for Aviendha because wetlanders don't like Aiel and Alsera is lsnt subtle and who takes her and protects her until he goes to the Aiel Waste in Season 3. Can you imagine Rand and the Two Rivers gang trying to keep this little from charging at Shadowspawn because Aiel aren't afraid of NOTHING.
P.s Rhuarc, Bair, and Lian are going mad trying to figure out what happened to their great daughter.
Also Alsera finds out she can channel later.
I NEED THIS NOW!
btw after this if show Rand does have a list of the people who died because of him i think i might know whose the first name will be
Spoilers for WoT S03E06 "The Shadow in the Night" + Book Spoilers
This was a really solid episode and if it hadn't been for 3x04 I would have said it were my favorite. There were a lot of things I was enthusiastic about.
The best scene was the confrontation between Rand and Egwene, followed by Sammael attacking, and then the golden part, something all of us book fans have been waiting for, Rand trying to revive a dead girl and failing, and his madness you're already seeing glimpses of. I was bawling my eyes out and kept saying 'no, no' when they mentioned Alsera. Wow. Again such a strong performance by Josha.
The Two Rivers storyline had beautiful scenes between Faile and Perrin and I was relieved that we finally got an alliance between the Whitecloaks and Ordeith/Padan Fain (it isn't really established what he calls himself yet). The big battle is coming up and I'm really excited for it. The only thing I didn't like was the healing of Alanna by Bode and Eldrin: I get they've a lot of potential but surely they aren't trained in healing a dying woman.
In Tanchico I adored the Compulsion scene, amazing. I liked seeing Liandrin's past, the Black Ajah shenanigans, Nynaeve getting drunk with Min (I would never have expected that). Ceara actually sung and I guess I could imagine Elayne doing that in public. Her accent as a Taraboner was terrific!
So, two more episodes to go, and I'm really curious how they're going to include the plot points I'm expecting. I hope Asmodean shows up in the Aiel Waste, maybe near Alcair Dal?
Broke: what if he DID bring back Alsera but wrong!?!?
Woke: what if he brought Alsera back perfectly fine but everyone was horrified and waiting for her to eat a baby or something.
