so we have a foster puppy rn who was found with a complex leg fracture that she just had surgery for and she's doing rlly well but like. she's too baby to limit her activity even though i'm sure she's in pain. she keeps trying to run and play and i'm like. You Absolute Goblin. you literally have an external fixator bc they couldn't do pins inside. your femur is being impaled for medical reasons. lay down or something????

having a cat is so mythical. it's like "this is my small beast who eats spiders and protects me from pests." and my cat is probably like "this is my large beast who can summon me dinner and lift me high enough to gaze out at the world from my impossible terrace (the second story window)."
