Emergency - what happened to me

Guess who - once again, but probably worse than any time before - is not able to walk... Yes right, me.  Last week we had orientation week for all freshman at my university and I - once again because I couldn’t miss it - was a tutor. This year, over 120 students were tutors and orientation is so much fun! On day 2 we always have a rallye through our city with lots of fun games and challenges and I got to be lucky enough to be one of the tutors to walk along with my group of freshmen :) 

That part of the day was basically already over and we were just standing together before bringing our boxes (one of the challenges) back to university... I had just finished talking to a friend and wanted to take two steps to the side to go talk to my freshmen group... as I tried to step to the side I stumbled and immediately fell... my foot hurt very bad and I wasn’t able to move it, let alone stand on it... my freshmen were really nice! they helped me up, helped me reach a bank where I could sit down and put up my leg.  As I was still discussing whether or not I should go to a doctor (I really didn’t want to) one of the other tutors had basically already arranged I’d get driven to the emergency area in the hospital :(  After over 3 hours of basically waiting and having done an x-ray, I was told it was probably a ligament rupture. 

I’m not walking around with crutches and something that supports my leg and keeps me from bending my ancle again.. 

So that’s how clumsy me ended up not being able to walk again ;D be careful guys, it really sucks because it slows you down so much! I need 10 times as long for every walk and it hurts and I can’t carry my own stuff and so on :(
