captivate; what is something you’re passionate about?

Volunteering! I try to go out to the local kid’s after school program to volunteer there when I can. I also spend a lot of time at the hospital. I think it’s really fun to help people and places out, plus I usually meet lots of cool people there.

Lately I’ve been more interested in learning how to cook. I’m trying to learn a bunch of recipes from eomma so I can make them even when I’m not home. Does that count? Uh, if not I’m pretty passionate about dance.

doll; how do you like to dress?

I would say my style is more simple. A lot of skinny jeans, not too many patterns. I tend to wear a lot of simple design or plain t-shirts but you can probably also catch me wearing open button ups fairly often? And then jackets are just whatever suits the weather. Or whatever Jaemin picks out for me. I guess it would be most appropriate to say mostly simple designs with one standout piece.

Actually Jeno and I basically share a closet so a lot of what I wear is also what he wears ㅋㅋㅋ That said I do like dressing up a little more so I have more colors and patterns than Jeno does. I also own some more interesting cuts and designs, like how my leather jacket has more straps and buckle embellishments. But overall I’d say we dress similarly and I also favor comfortable clothes over stuff that’s really pretty but uncomfortable.

giggles; what is your aesthetic of choice?

Aesthetic of choice hmm... maybe techno/cyberpunk! Oooh or like solar punk? Yeah.

I like kind of vintage/nostalgic aesthetics. Retro’s pretty cool too.

breeze; most precious childhood memory?

Oof this is kinda a long one but I had lost one of my favorite toys. I spent hours looking for it and before I even knew it, it was totally dark and cold and to make things worse, it started pouring rain! I took shelter under a playground platform. The rain was coming down so hard, I could barely see a few feet out in front of me. I didn’t know how to get home and it was awful. I really didn’t know what to do so I just sat there crying and out of nowhere, Jeno comes running out and shouting my name. I remember he was wearing this adorable frog raincoat, we were probably six at the time? Anyways he found me and stuck me in his rain coat and then took me home where I got yelled at by my parents. Jeno promised we could look for the toy the next day but I never did that because when I went to see him, the toy was sitting next to his bed and he had caught this horrible cold for going out in pouring rain to find me and the toy! Aish, really, what am I supposed to do with him?

I would say my eight birthday. Jaemin had this whole day planned out to celebrate with all my favorite places on the list. He insisted on buying me ice cream and we ran around the park playing together and at the end of the day, he had even somehow organized a kind of surprise dinner with both our families. We ended up falling asleep together on the living room floor because Jaemin refused to leave me alone. But it was really fun and I was really touched by how much effort he had put into the whole thing, including his gift to me. Not much has really changed since then, but that one sticks out to me because my grandmother had just been hospitalized so I wasn’t expecting anything grand at all.

cutie pie; most precious item you own?

A good luck charm from my mom when I was taking entrance exams and a little frog paper weight thing Jaemin made me for my eight birthday.

Ahhh, it’s a scrapbook Jen gave me on my eighteenth birthday! I know he doesn’t really seem the sentimental type but he is. He keeps lots of little mementos of things we’ve done so I wasn’t surprised when he gave it to me but at the same time I was really surprised! Jeno’s really thorough so he even got everyone else to write little notes and messages to me. He left extra pages for me to fill out with new memories ♡

cutsie; what makes you happy?

Good food, my friends and family and Jeno of course!

Yes ! This needs acknowledgment. Quarantine was a huge reason why everyone came in together. It all just dissolved after that, people got busy with life/work/classes. And that’s okay, that’s a given. I truly miss 2020-21. It gave all kinds of feels and memories to keep. Lessons learned. Also please don’t say you’re not serving. You give what you can and that’s served right. I’m speaking from experience with our interactions and dms. There was never a dull moment with your bots and mine. Honest to god, very rarely did people invest in the way you did with me. So take credit for that !

Absolutely. I think we wanted to pretend it wasn’t happening because no one lives to work, but it’s just reality. You drift away, find new places, and still have nostalgia for the good times. I feel so old saying that but it’s also encouragement to me, that it’s okay to leave stuff behind and miss it. Sjkensksns thanks for saying that. I’ll admit I’m always developing new styles as a writer and a creative but I do take pride in my old stuff. It’s weird, the way I never feel good about it in the moment but then I look back and I’m like yeah there are flaws but I still like what I wrote. I’m happy I did it. I’m absolutely delighted you cared as much as I did about writing together, and that I made it feel worthwhile 💕

True but I know I won’t return to being a bot owner. It drained half of me with that everything felt like a chore. I’m still friends with some on discord since I moved there completely and that’s way better for me. I do miss the rping and people here. But hey, as long as you’re doing you right?

That’s also valid. It’s hard to keep up with changes too, and with the time management now required since everyone has returned to working. I talk about this sometimes with other people but the peak of bot era was truly when we were all quarantined at home with nothing else to do ㅋㅋㅋㅋ I’ve moved a bunch of DM’s and stuff to discord and it’s served me well! It’s a lot less pressure and I appreciate the kind of quality I can serve on discord, though it’s still probably not that great lmao. But yeah for sure, I think as long as you’re happy with what you’re investing energy into, it’s okay
