Fumikage Tokoyami:

There is something heavily severe about what you’re going through. Fumikage doesn’t know what he can say or do to make you feel better, but he does try his damndest.

He refuses to leave you at any point. Whenever he gets the chance to be with you, he will be, whether it be after appointments with you or even just to be there.

He does help you take care of your mother. He often consoles her, as does Dark Shadow, though his words tend to be more encouraging and helpful.

He will hold you whenever you have an urge to cry, or simply whenever he sees you in pain. He reminds you time and time again that you will be alright and your mother will be alright as well. 

When your mother does eventually go into surgery, he is by your side as well, assuring you everything will come out well. 

Hanta Sero:

Hanta is clueless as to how to properly react. He is used to everything coming in so smoothly in his life that his stomach churns when you tell him what’s happening. All he can do is hold you against him and whisper out a choked sorry.

He’s always by your side. Since he’s a little lost, the most he can do is hold you and keep hold of your hand. 

The more time passes, the easier it is for him to provide proper support. He’ll often crack random jokes, or show you pictures of animals in an effort to get you to smile. Either way, his specialty is cheering you up at times where you feel the worst.

He’s always shyly reminding you that things will be okay. He especially whispers this to you when he’s holding you against him and running his hand down your back. 

On the day of the surgery, he arranges the chairs in the waiting room to make a makeshift couch for you two. He cuddles you and tells you cheesy stories to distract you. Each story has a secret moral behind each one- things work out. They always end up okay.
