Desvío de llamadas: por qué es importante
La funcionalidad de Whooming se basa en el desvío de llamadas cuando estás ocupado. Al rechazar las llamadas anónimas (por lo que resultando ocupado), el número que llama anónimo es desviado a nuestro servidor, que lo descifra y lo envía decodificado a tu aplicación.
No te preocupes, tu teléfono funcionará con normalidad: cada vez que recibas una llamada estando ocupado, Whooming te enviará una notificación en tiempo real con el número que te ha buscado. ¡Doblemente útil!
El desvío de llamadas cuando estás ocupado es preferible al desvío de llamadas inmediato: si configuras el desvío de llamadas completo, no recibirás más llamadas, mientras que lo que te importa es poder descifrar las llamadas anónimas.
Instalación e inicio de sesión
Para instalar Whooming hay que descargarlo de la App Store o de GooglePlay. La app sólo está disponible para smartphones y tablets.
Una vez instalada, puedes iniciar sesión con cualquiera de los siguientes métodos: acceso a través de la cuenta de Google o Facebook, ID de Apple o dirección de correo electrónico.

Call forwarding: why it matters
Whooming's functionality is based on call forwarding when busy. By rejecting anonymous calls (therefore resulting busy), the anonymous calling number is diverted to our server, which decrypts it and sends it decoded to your application.
Don't worry, your phone will work as normal: every time you receive a call when you're busy, Whooming will send you a real-time notification with the number that searched for you. Twice useful!
Call forwarding when busy is preferable to full call forwarding: if you set up full call forwarding, you won't receive any more calls, while what you care about is being able to decipher anonymous calls.
Installation and Login
To install Whooming you need to download it from the App Store or GooglePlay. The app is only available for smartphones and tablets.
Once installed, you can log in using any of the following methods: access via Google or Facebook account, Apple ID, or email address.
If you choose to log in by email, you must wait until you receive a code in your mailbox, which you can then enter in the app to set your password. If you haven't received it, wait a few minutes or check the Spam and Promotions boxes.
While you are waiting for the code, it is essential that you do not close the app! You can open other apps in the meantime (including your mailbox), but it's important to leave the app open in background. Closing the application and then reopening it would continue the configuration without having the account validated. This is a minor step at first glance, but it's actually very important to proceed smoothly.
Configuring Whooming
Once you're logged in, follow the configuration wizard to set up call forwarding. Should anything not work with the configuration, you can also proceed manually.
Once everything is set up, remember to reject anonymous calls: Whooming will tell you the number of the caller!
And if you need to, you can also associate multiple phone numbers to your Whooming account.
