6, 13 and 21 for Roswell? 😄

6. Favorite color?

Because of his indecisiveness, Roswell didn’t have a favorite color. He would say art (colors) were composed of music and vice versa, explaining why people feel things when they see art or listen to a song they like.  I remember a scene during Asra’s route (can’t remember if it was a paid scene or not) when they went to change into some outfits before practicing that lovely dance of theirs. If I remember correctly, Asra held something for the MC to see and stated that “Blue is your color” or something among those lines. Which I thought was very fitting since Roswell unintentionally associates with blue a lot. And so, because of that, he does like blue a little more :’)

13. How do their laughs sound like?

Oh this ask is so cute! Roswell usually has this kind of gentle kind of laugh, normally going up to a hypnotizing sound, because of his wonderful singing voice. HOWEVER, when you know you got a good laugh out of him, he snorts!! This is very embarrassing to him, but I’ve a feeling Asra absolutely finds it adorable and aims to hear it as much as possible B)   21. Zodiac sign? Roswell’s zodiac sign is Pisces!! Explains his frequent daydreaming when playing his instruments solo. Little fishy boi :) Or big, I guess, since he’s tall!

2. Any Family?

This is Roswell’s immediate family! They hail from Hesperia, but now live in Prakra (save for Roswell and Rosary). Santiago is mostly a successful jewel merchant, Lucimaria is a renowned chef, and Rosary is an aspiring fashion designer/tailor. Santiago has ‘uncle’ vibes and likes to crack dad jokes whenever he can, very much satisfied if he gets even a chuckle out of someone. His inviting personality, though corny at times, allows customers to frequent his store. A very fun guy! Lucimaria loves to cook for anyone and everyone; she’s kind, but also a very confident and strong woman that has more wit than expected. While she has a passion for cooking, there’s a part of her who wishes to become a professional dancer. Much like her brother, Rosary travels the world spreading her new ideas of style and flair. Out of the whole family, she’s the one with the most bombastic kind of personality! She can be sassy and loud, which can be exhausting since she is very high maintenance. But as a friend? Her loyalty knows no bounds! The whole family loves to use magic in their respective ways (Santiago enchanting jewels, Lucimaria’s healing in foods, Rosary’s more ‘entertaining’ glamour effects.)

Sadly, Roswell has no recollection of his family, as they are gone with his memories. I’ve yet to have a design or name for his Aunt, but she’s been MIA for a while since Roswell took over her shop.

3. Any familiar?

While he hasn’t had a familiar during any of his routes, his epilogue suggests that he meets a leucistic red-tailed hawk name Sōl. Though intimidating looking, Sōl is anything but! A very loyal familiar, Roswell became friends with him after finding him severely injured during one of his travels. After Sōl’s recovery, his pessimism became optimism, and has been a bubbly companion since. In every route, he promises to protect whatever LI’s familiar is. I haven’t a colored reference picture for Sōl yet, but that will come along soon enough!

12. Favorite place in Vesuvia?

Roswell’s favorite place would have to be where he calls home; Vesuvia in general! He can’t really choose a place since he’s indecisive like that, but his magic shop is a place where he’s been happy to have settled down in. While he enjoys looking at the beauties and riches of Vesuvia, he also finds himself frequenting the South End district, whether it’s for a need to help others or unwind or perform at the Rowdy Raven.
