Please talk more about your F1/AKOTSK AU ideas 👀 especially with Baelor and Maekar. Does Maekar still somehow cause Baelor's death or hopefully non fatal injury in this?

No no nobody dies in this AU. But Baelor had to retire because he was subjected to the Hand Nerve Destroyer 3000, probably.

This will be super disjointed so.

Baelor and Maekar have won multiple WDCs in their time. They are THE hottest shit in the Targ family's recent racing history. They did the Westerosi equivalent of Le Mans together. Joined at the hip.

Eventually Baelor has to retire, Maekar is a menace who has burned bridges because he's prickly and has a horrible temper, so Baelor is just like "I'll make a new team! For my most beloved amazing sweet little brother who has never done anything wrong in his life!!!". He's a very biased team principal/CEO: Maekar's enabler, forever finding loopholes in the regulations to let him get away with murder and terrorise the FIA. Maekar is his poor little meow meow (he is terrorising the entire grid, actually). Eventually Maekar settles but, yk, he is still considered too rough around the edges. Baelor loves him for it.

Uncle Bloodraven is involved in the spygates and the crashgates.

Aerion is a flop who is convinced he's the next coming of Maekar, loves playing mind games with his teammate (Valarr), like locking himself in the bathroom for hours before a race so the other cannot piss. "I won't embarass you this time" and then regularly puts it in the wall.

Maekar displaced Egg in the westerosi equivalent of an italian autogrill while taking him to karting competitions in westerosi Italy and Egg found this super amazing good nice rookie who doesn't have money to race (Dunk) and brings him home like a stray puppy.

Also not Targ related: Stannis Baratheon is Ron Dennis. Literally.

Ok ok ok as someone with DID I've always (well since the explanation of his birth) always seen satan as lucifers protective alter.

He took on the negative emotions, the rage so that lucifer could continue to keep his family safe in the celestial realm. He tucked away those emotions where lucifer couldn't find them. When they fell, one the rage created so much energy that he could form his own body but is that not another way he protected his host? He took the brunt of lucifers wrath so he could continue on doing what he needed to his family. I also see Satan's 'hatred' of lucifer as a form of taking on much of lucifer self loathing and self hatred

First of all: have you not read the rules? The masterpost has been up for 20 days at least, and the archive-lock rule has always been in it and you're noticing just now - does this mean that many of you have reblogged and commented without reading the rules? Not only that, but we already said it in THIS POST we made on August 18th.

Now, this is what we have written in the masterpost:

We know this is neither a foolproof way to keep things from spilling out to mainstream media and reaching the drivers' eyes nor a foolproof way to cover our asses, since we are basically working on the honour system, but it is the best that we all can do. Let's keep our RPF in our corner of the fandom.

As you know we have always been open to feedback, and have been willing to rework events when our community has made us notice that we were in the wrong, but this is something we are going to stand firm on.

Lately we have had: 1. Dax Shepard showing Daniel Ricciardo what's basically self-published, self-insert erotic fanfic about him. Marked, apparently. [HERE and HERE] 2. Richard Siken, a pretty popular poet, indulging F1twt and speaking about RPF on a platform where said people and their PR teams can see it. [1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6 and that's not all of it - his replies have a lot of RPF discussion. Seriously.] Like, we know that drivers like Charles and Lewis like to like fans' posts from time to time. They are going to see that. 3. People talking about Everything Changes, the infamouslly long Martian fanfic, on TikTok - another platform where these people and their PR teams are on. [HERE and HERE] 4. Official F1 media, like F1 instagram, using ship names when talking about a pair of drivers. 5. The infamous booktok hockey incident - an incident that was mostly the fault of the Kraken's PR team, because, again, they are lurking on social media and seeing all of this.

This is not only for our protection as in not getting sued or whatever, this is because we believe that FANDOM SHOULD STAY IN FANDOM SPACES, AWAY FROM THE PEOPLE INVOLVED be it the athletes/musicians/actors we are writing or drawing RPF about, but also away from authors and showrunners and show-writers' eyes in case of fiction.

This is to stop curious PR people from checking our stuff out because they saw it on Twitter/X or Tiktok or other mainstream socmed. This is to avoid our work being shared where it should not be shared. We don't know if any of you were in the One Direction fandom but we think many remember what happened when Larry was brought to the attention of the people involved. Late night show hosts have shown, in the past, fanart and fanfic to their guests. Youtubers find RPF fanfic about them all the time.

Now, these people might as well be lurking on Tumblr and AO3, and that nothing is really stopping these people from making an AO3 account and seeing this shit - we are not saying it's impossible, but still we should take measures to keep it away from them.

And since there seems to be a lack of common sense and respect of boundaries in the fandom, yes, we think archive locking the works is necessary. It's the barest layer of protection of our fandom. It's a matter of fandom etiquette.
