Sort of? My name is Emily Suzanne [Last Name]. My mom is Suzanne. She also says she heard the name Emily on the Bob Newhart Show but I am not really named after the character, she just liked it.

Last night I made myself cry while writing a stupid drabble.

No, they are too exhausting. I have nephews and give them back to their mom.

...yeah, it's on in the background as I try to get my data work done. Anyway.

This woman got what she thought was a plastic jewellery box for a quid at a car boot sale. She since found out it's ivory, and stopped using it. It's evaluated at £100-£200, and shit, it sold for £780.

Personally I'd be horrified. The ivory was pre-1947, so it was okay to sell according to the law, but still. I don't think it should be acceptable to own, sell or trade ivory at all. I wouldn't sell it. I'd find some way of getting rid of it and making sure no one could own it or profit from it.

Now, my question is this - if you were this woman and found out that something you owned was ivory (and maybe you'd paid so little for it), would you sell it for profit, would you keep it, or ...?
