Two Montgomery County Schools Still Alive in Maryland Field Hockey Playoffs
Bethesda-Chevy Chase topped Winston Churchill 4-2 to win the 4A West region of the Maryland Public Secondary Schools Athletic Association field hockey playoffs. The Barons (12-3) will play 4A North winner Dulaney (11-5) on Monday at Broadneck High School in the state semifinals.
In the 2A tournament, Poolesville won the West region with a 3-0 victory over Damascus. The Falcons (12-1) move on to the state semifinals, where they will play 2A North winner Century (13-2) at Broadneck on Wednesday.
