Commissioned by #RogerBabson in 1947, the #BabsonWorkdGlobe was the largest globe of the Earth when it was dedicated in 1955. Babson’s aim was to “impress upon students and other viewers an appreciation of the world as a whole”. At 28 feet in diameter and weighing 25 tons it remains a monumental sight n the #BabsonCollege campus. . .
