So here it is, my piece for the @backupsquadbang ! I've had so much fun with my first big bang and I want to thank the mods and everyone involved for this great experience ❤️

I got to illustrate Snipe meeting a unicorn for @thelilacmysterymistcatsao3space's fic "Ranch Days" - you can read it over here. Also please check out @smolangora who also illustrated this wonderful fic.

For @backupsquadbang, I made this poster! I finalized designs for the “monsters” (above the castle), while @spittyfishy finalized the designs for the “heroes” (below the castle) -- with image references provided by the author @13ghostlytitties.

Misc notes / outtakes / wips that no one asked for!!

This was from my participation in @backupsquadbang where I worked with @13ghostlytitties (the author!) and @spittyfishy (artist-in-arms!). I chose this fanfic because the summary was fun, I wanted to challenge myself to draw a lot of characters from MHA. You can now read Monster Castle on Ao3!

1. I made the poster using three illustrations that I drew, scanned, and then edited together using GIMP.

2. The font for the cover, !BasketOfHamsters, was from dafont.com.

3. References for the lighting was from William Nguyen’s Light Reference Tool: male & female.

4. The author, @13ghostlytitties provided references for the house, and I finalized the front, while @spittyfishy later updated it to include the correct skylights to the towers in her illustration.

5. Early thumbnails for the poster!

6. Some early concept sketches that do not reflect the final version of the characters!

7. Shishida (Class 1B Werewolf Iida??) as added a bit late to the poster. First I forgot him, and then added him as this impossible-to-see figure by Sekigai’s shoulder. Eventually we made him bigger to reflect his presence and help balance the group distribution, but some part of me misses the tiny version of him and his teacup.
