A front and back of my Linkle cosplay that I wore to Otakon 2024. I didn’t make everything from scratch exactly, but I did A LOT of customizing to make it look just right for the character~

What I did to make this cosplay written below (if anyone is interested):

• Braided and sewed wig wefts to an existing short wig (all bought from Arda Wigs)

• Took a thin old belt from a thrift store and made it into a choker, then added on a gem I bought on Amazon

• Purchased a cloak on Amazon, cut half off the bottom, then added it to the top, turning it into the interesting double-layered design that is Linkle’s cloak haha. I also sewed on a triple leaf pattern to the front bottom corners but you can’t really see it in these pictures. Additionally I cut a triangular slit in the back and added a little buttoned piece above it (using leftover cloak material and two large buttons, covered in red felt)

• 3D printed bits for the compass (with the help of my brother), painted it, then added a little background inside before glueing in the pin and sealing everything off with clear resin. (3D print file from: https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:2851847/files )

• Purchased long brown gloves that matched my boots, rolled them down to give a folded-over look, then sewed ‘em to secure them into the iconic look of Linkle’s gloves (bought on Amazon)

• Purchased a red skirt, added two rows of eyelets down the front, and laced them up with tan laces from bottom to top, ending with a cute bow~ (all bought on Amazon)

• Purchased some boots and red laces, then sewed little metal ringlets in the back of the boots and laced them up with said laces, finishing with little bows~ (all bought on Amazon)

Everything else I purchased on Amazon to complete the look (elf ears, white puffy sleeved shirt, shoulder bag, belt, belt buckle, and tights).

I can say I’m really proud with how it turned out 🌱💕 I don’t know when I’ll cosplay again, but this crafting adventure was an interesting and fun one for sure ☺️

had a very long and drawn out dream about the plot of oathbringer where my fever dream state extrapolated the rest of the book (it got a bit ridiculous)

But i imagined this really cool scene where Shallan like actually died, more than her stormlight could heal and Kaladin brought her back from the dead by basically repairing the damage to the best of his surgical ability and puting her on a ventilator + cpr to basically get her body working again and she involuntarily breathed in stormlight to repair the rest.

Anyway the dream ended with kaladin being hunted for sport by lighteyes, which I am pretty sure is not going to happen

I’m on a weed edible and high dose of Kratom high right now and I feel so blissed out

Most (neck still hurts of course) of the pain I’m usually in is gone

I feel dizzy but like that good kind of dizzy lightheadedness you get while high

(Yes! Especially kissing, he could get quite into it were he to kiss someone he really really likes. Mostly it is the meaning of a kiss that encourages him and leaves him to desire them more than anything. 

As for caressing, yes to a certain extent. He’d like physical contact with the one he likes and some affectionate touches and caresses, if they aren’t with (overly much) sexual intent.)
