♥️AGE IS BEAUTIFUL♥️ In response to @helenbarnett7205 ‘s suggestion that we post our age and face proudly (especially those of us 39+). When I was in my twenties I was slimmer, my skin was tighter, I had no lines, pert boobs and I was also miserable and confused by life. I didn’t appreciate my own physical ‘advantages’ and I wasn’t in touch and in love with my body or myself as I am now. I am 45 now and I’m stronger, wiser and curvier, I have wrinkles, silver hairs and what I refer to as hag hairs that sprout from my face randomly 🤣🤣🤣 I have almost half of a decent moustache when left untended. I’m quite proud of that 🥸 I love a tache. I also don’t appreciate restrictive clothing I can’t frolick comfortably in, I can’t be bothered with make-up except occasionally when inspired. I had my lips and my brows tattooed to enhance some things and I have nothing against any body modifications people choose to undertake, or not. Each to their own. I make my own choices just like all my tattoos. I literally give no f***s what anyone else thinks about those choices. I love myself like never before. I am healing my body and my younger self over time and I am no longer in a rush. Quite often people see a softer side of me when I am holding space in teaching and healing. But I am equally a warrior Venus who fiercely protects and holds those boundaries that honour me bravely. Sometimes people (especially males it seems) call me ‘scary’ but people are scared of what they can’t control. I am an independent force of nature, on behalf of myself and others. You are beautiful. Be you as fully as you can at every age. Wear what you want how you want. Honour your body in the way you grow, enhance and nurture it. EXPRESS YOURSELF through the medium of love.
