i find it so bizarre (and telling) how people conveniently forget that privilege and oppression are structural systems when it comes to trans men and transmasculine people. it’s a necessary function of patriarchal systems that transitioning into privilege is impossible like the entire point of the system is to keep it as exclusive and rigid as possible. even if you completely pass in social contexts that doesn’t mean shit in legal or medical contexts
