It's offical: I am finally ready to get this vision going. Hey, My name is Surabhi Shubhraj, I am a local resident of Adelaide for over 12 years. I am 31 years old a ex-hairdresser, single mum and full-time student of social work at UniSA. I was pulled by my hair to pin me down by a trusted friend on the 1st Dec 2016. I managed to escape that night and received an apology from the individual the following day. While, I have made contact with the police and rape and assault to understand my rights. I shaved my hair on 23rd Dec 2016 in protest and created a Facebook page LookBeyondLooks. I believe that sexual harassment/assault happens in every other persons life but we are not doing enough in our society to stop it. I am on a mission to spread awareness to speck-up against assault. #WeTalkTheyStop I vision creating a safe place for people to say 'no' to abuse and assault. I do not have all the answers but I am willing to ask the right questions. Let's speak up and raise better men. #LookBeyondLooks #BigThingsStartSmall #WomenAreMoreThanTheirBodies #WeTalkTheyStop #SayNoToAbuse #SayNoToAssault #LifeAsItIsNotHowItShouldBe #RespectWomen #StrengthInNumbers #WeHaveThePowerTogether Spread the word and support me achieve my goals. Thank you, Surabhi Shubhraj (at Adelaide, South Australia)
