favorite thing about them: HIS SMARMY ATTITUDE i love that smug piece of shit so much. i like how he was always kinda sarcastic as shown in the dlc but he doubles down on it in the main game.

least favorite thing about them: actually playing as him /lh regular combat is fine but bosses are a fucking nightmare. dlc armstrong you are the only video game boss that has caused me genuine physical pain

unpopular opinion: i don’t think he was “secretly good all along” actually. weird take that i’ve seen a few times but saying he was secretly good would be missing the point of him losing his ideals and becoming disillusioned at the end of his dlc. the whole point is to show that sam is what raiden could become if he just accepted defeat. you can try fixing him thats fine but he was never “secretly always good” IMO

Are Scout headcanons happening? Scout headcanon he LOVES movies that are objectively very bad. Like lame ass action movies. You ever seen the Drew Gooden video about the movie Money Plane? Scout tf2 kinda movie. He loves Sharknado in a completely uncomplicated genuine unironic way. He thinks they're actually cool and not lame or bad at all. Scout watching Sharknado like holy crap you guys how do they get the sharks to do that they're really good actors

onetime he makes the entire team watch sharknado with him and like the credits roll and he looks back at everyone and they’re all asleep, staring slackjawed at the TV like they just experienced hemorrhage and brain death, or probably gone because they left in the first ten minutes of the movie to go do better things. he cries for like a month and one day the team’s fed up with it so they force spy to go to scout’s room and say “I………….. liked the movie” and scout LIGHTS UP and says no way dad me too and he makes spy watch the next four dozen sequels or however many sharknados there are with him and it’s really really sad for everyone involved
