Kipo And The Age of The Wonderbeasts, Does It Have Good Black Rep?

Kipo and the Age of Wonderbeasts is a 2020 Netflix cartoon produced by DreamWorks Animation, it ended on Synopsis "After spending her entire life living in an underground burrow, a young girl named Kipo is thrust into an adventure on the surface of a fantastical post-apocalyptic Earth. She joins a ragtag group of survivors as they embark on a journey through a vibrant wonderland where everything trying to kill them is downright adorable." This show features various Black characters, including the main character herself being Blasian (Black and Korean specifically i believe?), but the question is, do you think the show has good Black rep\characters?

Its poll time! For the first one we have Aisha From Winx Club (2004) Vs Aika From Pretty Pretty Please I Don't Want to be a Magical Girl (2025)

Aisha is a fan favorite among Black fandom, many of us grew up watching the Winx with her as some of our only representation especially in magical girl media, unfortunately but often common for Black girl characters, Aisha is not treated well in the series and actively faces the most hardship compared to her non-black peers. Aika is a newer addition to the growing cast of Black representation (especially in regards to the magical girl genre), the animatic pilot by Kiana Mai that came out in 2025 blew up online! The series currently is getting its first episode fully animated and many fans (myself included) are hoping the series gets greenlit! Please check out the first two episodes if you haven't seen them yet!

Craig of the Creek is a 2018 Cartoon Network show, created by Matt Burnett and Ben Levin. Synopsis "In the fictional suburban Baltimore-DC area town of Herkleton, Maryland, a boy named Craig Williams and his two friends, Kelsey Pokoly, a young "warrior" girl with an active imagination and a lust for adventure, and "J.P."
