So yesterday, I shadowed Laura the whole day at UIC. [: It was so cool and probably better than actually going on a tour or something there. We met up with Alex on the train and I got introduced to Hazbar (the guy who's afraid of belly-buttons). We walked from Union Station to UIC, but on our way we stopped to get Starbucks to try that one drink her friend recommended her and the only best way to describe it is this, "It tastes like salted caramel popcorn liquefied." according to Alex as he made a really disgusted face. So after the four of us arrived at UIC, we went our separate ways so Laura could show me around more like how there's a building dedicated to bathrooms, there's a guy who does tricks just cause (well, according to Alex, he's probably a Jew), and then we went to one of the cafeterias and Alex and Hazbar were there with 2 of his Moes. Seriously, it's like catching wild pokemon and Alex prefers catching the same type.
So I pretended to be a student in two of Laura's classes, we sat all the way in the back just in case. I had Mark keep me company via texting when Laura had to pay attention in class or we had to be separated. After all of her classes, she showed me the library, the Quad, another cafeteria, and this building with too many staircases that makes me want to cry. After we got a snack at Cram's, we took the bus to the train station and went home. I was already exhausted which I didn't expect to happen since I thought we could go exploring downtown, but wow, it really does wear you down. So this is something I have to get used to.
So, I rested at her house and Blanquis showed me Attack on Titan and the rest of her funeral playlist and what songs should be played when certain events happen. And I just. Idk about her. Then, we went on Omegle for a bit. Then, before I could go home early as I planned, I started going on about transgenders and sexuality, and Laura started talking about gay high schools. Then, we talked about how outdated and animalistic the evolutionary and biological theories sound when applied to the explanation of rape and sexual harassment. Even Blanquis thought we were talking about wolves when she overheard me quoting a girl in my class who was talking about why the sociopaths rape Brandon in Boys Don't Cry. It was a really interesting talk and an odd way to conclude the night.
Note to self: This shadowing thing is becoming costly, I better only do this once a week and probably bring snacks.
Saturday was fun, went to a buffet, the thrift store, then played a game of tennis. My arms are sore, but I like the feeling of sore muscles, it just means my body got a bit of a workout. [: While me and Moe were talking in his car, Laura finally came back home and I decided to walk her to her door after Moe left. Then.. I decided to walk her to her room then stayed with her. Then, I ended up walking the pugs with her and Blanquis. Afterwards, I ended up chilling with Mike, so yeah, my Saturday was good. cx
