Boba x Fennec fanfic idea that I will probably never get around to writing:
1) Scars. One night, they're up late swapping stories, which turns into competitive scar comparisons. What started as just a silly game, suddenly becomes more sensual as bared skin is explored with both eyes and hands. The "what about the scars in the inside?" line gets worked in there somehow.
2) Family. One morning at the dining table, Fennec realizes that she basically got married, bought a house, adopted some teens, and rescued an ugly dog (and his pet Rancor). She laughs to herself, because they aren't really a family, even though they are beginning to look like one. But then Boba makes an offhand comment that is carelessly domestic. She admits to herself that she has found someone she would actually die for without a second thought or regret. She watches him eat his breakfast and it finally dawns on her that she loves him.
3) Legacy Angst. Fennec watches Din and Grogu playing together and feels a pang of regret that she never had a child of her own, and now never will. Boba senses her mood and understands. He remembers his childhood with his father and admits he has wondered what it would be like to be on the other side of that relationship himself. Shared pain leads to tears, comfort, and more...
Chapter 2: Several months later, a reunion with Omega (who has become an accomplished geneticist) provides the answer for both of them. Omega can help them both have a child.
