Travel Tuesday: Deep Creek Hot Spring

We wanted to keep this gem a bit of a secret because of its accessibility to LA and lack of a wallet thinner area we just cant resist. One of the only non-developed hot spring left in the LA area, it is a hike to get to, and you make have to cross an ice cold river, but access through the Bowen Ranch will have you soaking in the non-sulfuric (so no smell!) water in no time. Therapeutic and picturesque, if you are willing to make a short but moderate hike through the desert to a place a little out of the way but still close to the area, it's totally worth it.

oh, and you might meet some nudists there, too.
