1: if someone wanted to really understand you, what would they read, watch, and listen to? first and foremost you’d have to read the shoebox project because it encapsulates my sense of adventure and dramatics perfectly. then you’d have to watch the incredibly true adventure of two girls in love because it shows how big of a goddamn softie i am, and the gentler things, like holding hands and listening to music in fields. finally, you’d have to listen to a really fucking weird combination of music: regina spektor so you could get that weird nostalgic feeling for a time that hasn’t happened, and joan jet and laua jane grace for all that girl anger, and then any upbeat indie rock band will work (locksley is preferable, though).
4: do you like your name? is there another name you think would fit you better? i love my name! julie means vivacious and i think i’m pretty dang lively. i honestly don’t know any other name that would suit me better
9: are you an artist? i’d like to be.
16: if you’d grown up in a different environment, do you think you’d have turned out the same? definitely not!! i think about that a lot actually. my sister went to catholic school until she was 13 and that couldve easily been my fate as well if my mom hadnt transferred me to public school. i feel like i definitely wouldve turned out way worse and WAY more rebellious, probably smoking cigs in the church bathroom n shit haha. also i wouldve been way more self-hating with the whole gay thing.
23: how often would you want to see your family every year? im honestly not that close to my family. even my brother who literally only lives 45 minutes away has only visited once this year and im upset or anything. the rest of my family lives in ohio or kansas and i see them once a year which is fine w/ me.
30: pick one of your favorite quotes. enthusiasm is the best protection in any situation!!!
