the MUST HAVE passives in each stat category are
●Catnap (you dont lose Satiety ((hunger)) while Resting to restore Stamina)
● Steal (this one is trickey but as you need multiple Matches to advance the plot it helps I stole like 3 via savescumming otherwise you will blow thru your daily earnings)
● Multithread Brain (lets you take 3 quests instead of 1 from all questgivers)
● Juicy Gossip (the Hear action talks between inmates can be sold at the Barbershop for 1 dollar per Charisma and OPTIMAL Thomas will start with 6 charisma. You cant use gossip for anything else so this is a great sidemoney maker)

On Thomas' route you are only expected to fight 2 times! There are technically more msq battles but one is basically unwinnable on the first go because it comes as a surprise and our cute lil fox boy cannot possibly fend off a crocodile with his paltry 3 strength (to avoid this fight you basically have to sit out your entire first Afternoon segment by resting on a bench)
The second fight is the mandatory final boss. There is a possible last fight but by assembling traps in the room prior you can knock out your possible assailants and avoid it.
So the obligatory prison riot can come as a surprise and you will be fucked over should you fail to adequately defend yourself, and you can lose your Friends from injuries should you fail to aid them.
This theme really captures the tension both narratively and metanarratively methinks on top of being a bangerrrr

The main theme of the Morning segments per day is decidedly more intense and menacing than the afternoon/evening tracks, which is very fitting as mornings are full of scheme-hatchery between inmates, guards, and sometimes both.
As you Listen to conversations throughout the game the Gang territorial disputes amp up and eventually come to a head near the climax of the game (day 17 I believe).
