still love the idea of teacher shino inadvertently (not even really, he actively tries) teaching the new generation of shinobi a lot about bugs. like yes we do not kill bugs in this classroom, now look at this beetle-

shikadai: it's a six spotted tiger beetle! I can't believe one is this far in the forest, they usually prefer-

shikamaru: what's bug month?

shikadai: every year shino sensei had a month he told us about a new bug everyday. and then we'd have to pick out favorite and draw it.

um there is good news though. my mom gave me a kinder egg (for easter) and the toy inside is a little yellow caterpillar thing that is also a marker
