this time i got inspired by a comic (i cant leave the link on anon but its by @/operahouselover) and how admin work must be super demanding and stuff (and i was honestly thinking of an AU in general where builderman IS a father. sure he has shedletsky and brighteyes at home taking care of them but thats also his kid yk [i keep mentioning builderbrightsky domestic au and then never elaborate i am so sorry for edging you guys 🥀]), so i feel like admins each have a day of the week they MUST take off. its different days of the week for each person tho so theres always a decent amount of admins to keep HQ covered if smth happens. and obviously if theres a whole hacking disaster or roblox REALLY spikes in activity you are likely to be called in on your free day off

as an angsty bonus: 1x ISN'T shedletsky's kid in the AU i was thinking about when i came up w this headcanon (tho they are shed's kid in a few other AUs i have), but for anyone who does have them as shed's kid and wants to adopt this headcanon, maybe the incident that caused builderman to come up w this policy (bcs that my image w this headcanon, some incident or another that really affected an admin is the reason this policy had to be made, tho idk what this incident would be in the case of my AUs where 1x is not related to shedletsky. maybe js a far less dramatic reason like the admins getting really stressed and falling asleep at work?) was 1x's betrayal (since in my AUs where 1x is shedletsky's kid their corruption was partially due to shed's accidental neglect [yes this is inspired by cuppocino's AU how did you know])
