"Next up I figured I'd talk about how I met Karen, now that one is your typical 'coffee-shop fanfic' scenario at least somewhat! Honestly how far things have come since that day."
"Before I met Karen, my only two partners were Valarie and Empress, and it stayed that way for a good long time, it's kinda funny my first partner, Valarie I met back in 2019, and not long after, a few months after, I met empress."
"Though, I'm here to talk about Karen today, honestly meeting her was one of the best things that could have happened to me, it's like meeting her was a gateway for me, really opened my heart to so many new experiences."
"Now I'm married nine times over, crazy how much can change in less then ten years huh?"
Monnie chuckled softly chirping really loudly as he was just thinking about all this.
"Right, sorry got distracted."
"Okay, like I said, me and Karen met in a kind of cheesy way, I was in the SMG4 universe, can't remember exactly why, but that day, I needed a coffee, so I walked into a small little cafe, and that's when I saw her for the first time."
"I remember the month too, it was the first week of may, I think MAYBE 2022? but I could be wrong, anywho I waited my turn in line, I listened to her talk to customers, I heard how tired she was, saw the expression on her face, it looked to me like she was having a bad week."
"Can't say I blame her, working at one of these places can really drain you, but this was before I fell head over heels for her, we were just two strangers, and well, I've always had an extremely high empathy."
"So, once it came to my turn in line, I didn't order what I'd usually enjoy, since I'm sure it could be a hassle, so I just asked for something simple, a large coffee, with 3 sugar, 3 cream."
"I got out of line, waiting for my number to be called, and as I was getting my drink, I left a very generous tip, in her personal tip jar, but I also left the same amount for all the other workers there."
"I told her I appreciated her, and hoped she had a good rest of her day."
"I saw a small smile on her face after that, as she thanked me, she didn't get into any details of course, just a pleasant little exchange between us both."
"And then once every few weeks, I came back, doing the same thing, eventually she got curious and asked about why I was doing that, it couldn't have been cheap, and stuff like that, and well, I explained I did it because it was clear to me, she was underappreciated for her hard work, and I liked to help others, I liked to put a smile on people's faces."
"I think she was a little suspicious of that, can't say I blame her, but was willing to give me the benefit of the doubt, and gave me her number, of course for the first few months, we were just friends, we both talked about our lives, I was completely upfront about myself, upfront about my emotions."
"I was even upfront about the fact I was already married twice, and was still married to both people, I still remembered how shocked she was, her eyes opened widely and her tail stood up straight, she did notice the two rings on my fingers but figured it was just a fashion choice."
"But anyway, I came here to just talk about how we met sorry for getting a bit carried away, I ain't gonna talk about how we got married, or even started dating."
"That's a story for another day, though I will at least say, our first date was in early august of 2022."
