New lineup for Akon! Honestly I have a problem.

I believe this was on the last day of anime fest 2016. That was a loooong convention. I can't even begin to describe all that happened. But this was also just a long year. For that, We woke up that morning tired, stressed and not knowing if we wanted to keep going that day. We just had a big scare that was resolved but it was draining. Captain Tess asked me if I wanted to do anything or if we should just back up to leave. I told her she'd been looking forward to this photo shoot and we should go. We didn't have a lot of time to get ready but she said fine if we hurry. Next thing we knew we were running across the street and we got there early only to find one of her bows were missing! We had to run back and retrace our steps, and it was laying in the middle of the road. The traffic between our hotel and afest was pretty busy. I was afraid it had tire tracks all over it. But after running after it and checking, we were lucky to see it was fine. After all of that we finally joined everyone and were able to have some fun before leaving.

Today, Burninglilly came over to captain Tess’s house. Together, They set up a goal to work on Weiss schnee’s jacket. Captain Tess was hoping, wishing and praying it would all be done on one day. Too bad for her, Burninglilly has the patients of a saint. Slowly, Burninglilly figured out how to build the jacket. Making mock up after mock up, Continually asking Tess to put on a jacket filled with pins. Jabbed, stabbed and sick of waiting, Tess could only sit and watch. For her friend was a terrible communicator who simply sits and works. Only speaking when she has something other than what she is doing on her mind. Again and again Tess asked Lilly if she could help or do something. Only then would Lilly respond with “oh yeah!” And finally give her something to do. 6 hours later, all they had to show for their work was pieces of a teeny tiny jacket. Tess sighs. Running out of patients. Lilly gives a devilish grin and says: “You didn’t think we’d be done in a day did you?” “I WAS HOPING!!!!” And that’s what we did today. 😋

So as I was watching a movie today, I thought to myself...ya know...there are 3 movies I can watch over and over again and seriously never be tired of. And I felt like sharing lolol. So first movie 1) Devil Wears Prada---Dont ask me lol. I guess I love how Andy finds herself and becomes who she's happy with. Sure with stumbles, but in the end, she was where she wanted to be, and I think that's great. 2) My Big Fat Greek Wedding---Again, sort of a transition movie between what someone wanted to be and actually having the courage to be it. I love the love story too, and how it just seems real and genuine...not fairytale like and extravagant. 3) The Dark Knight---I really do love Batman because he overcame his fears and turned them into a power. Sure he was motivated by revenge but..I think his story is of determination. Okay, another rant over lol. ~Captain Tess

Akon 26

So I am back from Akon. It was probably the best convention I have been to since starting going to conventions. I am really sad it’s over, so a little bummed out that I couldn’t see friends who I had planned on seeing, but it was still very fun.

This con blues is already happening, but honestly, I’m more tired than anything. And I have stupid school tomorrow, so, that’s unfortunate. For now, I have a ton of pictures to upload/edit and videos to make a youtube video. That’ll keep me occupied for awhile!
