Adam’s, Ty’s, Seto, and Jason’s relationship is very close. Adam is the oldest out of the three, having been born (or found) four years before Jason and Seto and six before Ty. Ty and Adam where both raised by the same parents and consider each other brothers despite the fact that its very obvious Adam isn’t really related to the rest of the family. (Again, he was basically left of Ty’s parents doorstep to find.)(their mother stayed at home and their father was a merchant.) Adam can’t really remember what Ty looked like as a baby/toddler because Ty was born at about the same time Adams light sensitivity began to set it. (he wore a blindfold for most of his childhood to combat this.) Adam, Ty and Seto where very good friends and neighbors since they where very young. (Seto is from a family of witches and sorcerers, though not openly.) They met Jason about the time Adam was 10. Jason was a fairly spoiled kid, he had well of parents and a big house and anything he could ask for. (His parents where both doctors.) However one night when Jason was 8 his parents fell asleep in the study of their home and left the fireplace going on accident the two burned to death in their sleep and Jason barely made it out alive. Having lost part of his right leg when a support beam fell and crushed it. A few local people managed to pull Jason out from under it and out of the building but his parents where already gone. (Jason was left in the care about of his nanny Layla because his only living realities where too old and senile to take care of him.)
Adam and Ty after hearing about the fire went to visit Jason in the hospital and that’s how they met. Ever since the boys have been great friends and very close. Jason made Adams glasses when he was 12 and his first working prosthetic around 14. Before that though Seto used some of his magic to help Jason manage phantom pains and help him get around.
