Battle of Toro 1476 by José Daniel Cabrera Peña
Castilian-Aragonese army led by Ferdinand II of Aragon, Cardinal Mendoza and the Duke of Alba preparing to take on the Portuguese in the Battle of Toro.
Hey and welcome to my langblr! My name is Rachel (she/her) and I’ve made this blog to mostly focus on Spanish, but I am learning French too.
Give this a like/reblog or say hi if you’re a Spanish or French langblr too!
I’m relatively ~decent~ at French, but I’m a complete Spanish beginner and am particularly interested in European/Castilian Spanish, although all Spanish (and French) resources are greatly appreciated.
My native language is English and I’m from London, UK, and I have a Bachelor of Arts degree in Creative Writing.
I did French at GCSE many years ago, and so when I decided to learn another language in 2018 it seemed like the natural choice. I love French and I love France but I wanted to go further.
Sadly, I never got the opportunity to learn Spanish at school so I’m trying to go from scratch here. I always wished I could speak it ,and Spain is one of my favourite countries. I visited a bit in my childhood and one day I’d love to experience living out there, even if only for a few months.

PLEASE HELP 🙏
This is a call of all of those people of httyd fandom that live in Spain or watch the movies in Spanish Castillian, not Latin.
I know httyd homecoming has been dubbed to Spanish Castillian, but I don't know where to watch it or if it's on any internet page where you can download it. Please, if someone knows it, tell me because I'm a little desperate!! Thank you people 🥰
The Capitulation of Granada by Francisco Pradilla Ortiz
Wait, why do people in LatAm communities call it spanish? youd expect them to be the most gung-ho about calling it castillian, no?
