CCHM is great! The Pioneer Days planning is coming along and I’m SUPER excited for this year’s event, we have some awesome historic vendors coming and a few of them have agreed to do children’s programs for us which is incredible and extremely generous of them.

The Flash Museum is...... going. Dex is doing a little better now but still seems fairly dead inside. I’m still in charge of getting info and artifacts connected to Max Mercury and this shit is HARD. But I’ll have more time for that now that I’m finished my thesis.

Me: yes?

Him: Uh this is Maebh’s supervisor at the history museum? You’re listed as her emergency contact

Me: she’s not working today?

Him: no, I know, that’s.... that’s why I’m calling

Him: she looks......Uh very uncomfortable and is not as put together as she usually seems, even for her days off when she runs in for something and she’s with a rather large group of people which is also uncharacteristic for your sister

Me: oh no, she’s not being held hostage- that’s her boyfriend’s family sans boyfriend who decided to surprise her after her last final and she’s never met them before

Him:......ah......okay........She looks dead inside

Me: yeah that’s normal
