CCS Week Day 7: Favorite Ship/OTP 

There are a lot of ships I love in CCS, but my favorite is Touya X Yukito! ^_^ <3 They’re actually not just my CCS OTP, but my OTP of all anime or manga series ever! In a way this is kind of “favorite friendship” part 2 for me because my favorite part of their relationship is the solid, intense, and incredibly loving friendship that they have at the base. I believe that the strongest romantic relationships are those where the couple are best friends first, and that’s definitely the case with them! 

They both truly bring out the best in each other, they help each other in times of trouble and are always there for each other, they enjoy spending time together and make sure to do so as much as possible, their strengths and weaknesses complement each other, they accept each other for who they are, they trust each other completely and aren’t afraid to let their guard down around the other, and they really do love each other no matter what. 

Also they’re super adorable in how they show affection to each other throughout the series--subtle gentle touches to the face, back of the head, shoulder, back, and hands, and how they sit or stand so close together, that loving kind of teasing, and how they call each other by nicknames with no honorifics. ^_^ 

So that’s the last day! Thanks to @ccsweek for organizing this, it was a lot of fun and I loved seeing everyone’s posts! ^_^

CCS Week Day 6: Favorite Friendship/BROTP

Sakura and Tomoyo is my favorite friendship pair from the series! ^_^ They both bring out the best in each other, are always there for each other, enjoy spending time with each other & make spending time with each other a priority, genuinely care that the other is happy, trust each other completely, and accept each other for who they are flaws and all! ^_^ 

Their friendship also reminds me of the friendship I have with my two best friends, so just that “awww it’s like us! <3” feeling makes me love their friendship too. ^_^  One of those best friends is a big CCS fan too and she’s said her favorite ending theme is Fruits Candy because it reminds her of us and the fun we have baking together. ^_^ <3 So that’s why I decided to draw Sakura and Tomoyo baking in their Fruits Candy outfits. ^_^

CCS Week 16 Day 5: Favorite Quote

“It’s hard to imagine never being able to see the people you love again. But if you want to see that person again, and they want to see you again, you’ll meet again. As long as you both feel that way, I’m sure it will be alright.” --Yukito 

This was another day where it was hard to pick my favorite since there are so many wonderful quotes in both the anime and manga! But I love this one the most because of how hopeful and encouraging it is, as well as how true it is! 

I also really connect with this quote on a personal level because now that I’m older, my best friends and I have moved away to different states and countries for either college, grad school, or jobs. When we moved, I remembered this quote and also told it to some of my friends who were worrying about us being so far apart. It helped reassured us that as long as we still love each other, we’ll be able to see each other again. And even though there sometimes are years in-between seeing each other, we always find a way to meet up again and keep in touch, just like this quote said. ^_^ <3

CCS Week Day 4: Favorite Card

My favorite card is the Glow Card! :D I love fireflies, dandelions, and fairies and the Glow Card looks like a dandelion puff fairy and makes firefly-like lights, so I love it for those reasons. ^_^ But I also really love all of the cards that aren’t great for battling but have other purposes--in this card’s case making someone smile, setting a cool atmosphere that could make things either really peaceful or really romantic, and providing light during a power outage/any time you need a light source! :D

CCS Week Day 3: Favorite episode/movie/scene 

This was so hard to choose since I have lots of favorite episodes and love pretty much every scene in the series! But I picked the Cinderella play where Yukito is a Can of Mackerel Sorcerer because that’s my favorite silly scene in the series. No matter how many times I watch it it still makes me giggle & smile & brighten my day just as much as it did the 1st time I saw it! ^_^ 

That whole first part of the play is great--the goofy dancing and singing from the stepsisters, Touya’s horrendous monotone acting (I love how he literally just says “Sob. sob. sob.” when he’s supposed to be crying XD ), & how adorably excited Yukito is about being the Can of Mackerel Sorcerer! ^_^ 

But I especially love that they changed the Fairy God Mother into the Can of Mackerel Sorcerer because it’s so creative in addition to being funny! There are a lot of versions of Cinderella, but I’m pretty sure this is the only one where they went “Ooh let’s make a canned fish gain magical powers to be the Fairy God Mother!” XD And the little fish on the wand is so cute!
