finally reading sunrise on the reaping, and it made me realize what hunger games as a series lacks: patriotism in the districts. hunger games nails lots of things about capitalism, fascism and dictatorship but realistically, the districts would also have patriots who side with the capitol despite the gruesome reality of the hunger games. that would be why the districts wouldn’t riot. if there’s not a balancing force in the crowd that supports the oppressors, there’s no reason for the oppressed to NOT riot.

these new modulo chapters are kinda funny because “rumeli” in turkish refers to southern balkans. so it sounds like these extraterrestrial civilizations have beef with the balkans.

i’m watching a turkish soap opera (THEE soap opera of all time) called aski memnu and the urge to rip it off for a jjk series is STRONG. i’m just trying to figure out who would be who. obviously behlül is gojo, they’re literally the same person. i need to think.
(for my non turkish followers, think of it as this: y/n marries an old rich man, starts living in his mansion with his two kids and young adpotive nephew who’s the same age as you, and their maids. yn LOVES her old husband but slowly finds herself feeling irresistible lust for his nephew. the nephew used to date your sister, but your sister is now married to the son of your husband’s (and mom’s) rival ceo. but the son also joins your team and starts working for your old rich husband after a fight with his dad.)
someone PLEASE help me. like the rich people will obv be the clans. gojo is canonically the head of gojo clan but that won’t be the case. the rival clan should be the zenins, so your sister might marry megumi (aged up). i REALLY want to make yn marry toji but that would mean the clans are all messed up and toji somehow raised gojo? yaga is off limits cause yuck. gojo fits bc they’re both cheeky, flirtatious, mischievous. so help me choose (JUST IN CASE I WRITE THIS IN THE FUTURE cause im obsessed with this series):
1. yn marries nanami (aged up) and has an affair with gojo
2. yn marries gojo and has an affair with geto
3. yn marries GETO and has an affair with gojo
