it didnt show up when i went in though.... do i have to inquire someone about it or was that big open space past the save point, like, not the boss arena

btw primrose/dancer class has the skill bewildering grace that causes a random effect from getting an exp/jp multiplier after battle, to leaving the whole party with 1 hp or not doing anything. its kind of a risky method for jp farming but its also worth trying bc if you do it at max bp there would be 4 random effects so you could try checking that too

yeah i heard there was some silliness with that one! mainly the story about someone on their last legs in a boss fight accidentally healing the boss back up to full. definitely worth looking at for farming/grinding later on though!

honestly I really do think this would've improved the story a whole lot cuz post time skip is really where u felt the weight of byleth taking the focus away from the lord the most. Ugh Im jus imagining verdant wind without byleth it would've been so much better

byleth was so unnecessary post time skipppp. i really felt the school phase needed them bc choosing a house+mentoring the kids was important but them surviving that fall for 5 years and waking up the day before the reunion was a HUGE ass-pull first of all and secondly like the lords needed time to shine without them???? everything is attributed to byleth’s super powerful ass and its so tiring!!

as much as i love edelgard and dimitri.......them relying on byleth to rein the worst traits of themselves holds them back so MUCH!!! having byleth die could add more drama to their routes something like edie saying "ill take back the humanity you were stolen" or smth among those lines and adds another voice to the chorus in dimitris head and avenge jeralt in byleths name or whatever. [claude voice] rip to them but im different!

YES I WAS MOSTLY THINKING ABOUT EDELGARD AND DIMITRI THE NARRATIVE MAKES THEM SO CODEPENDENT ITS NOT FUNNY. you’re telling me that dimitri would have never recovered from his mental illness bc of Byleths Love or whatever and edelgard becomes cruel and inhumane without Byleths Influence... LIKE IM SO TIRED FIRE EMBLEM JUST LET YOUR CHARACTERS SHINE YOU HAVE GREAT LORDS YOU DONT NEED TO MAKE THEM SECONDARY TO A BRICK WALL

the racism ‘commentary’ in this game is a god damn joke. ‘respect the furries!!!!!’ yet their only returning black character is a literal caricature

radiant dawn is the stronger game imo. my only major critique is the lack of real supports and development for the dawn brigade but otherwise it was a STELLAR ass escalation of por’s events. everything led up to the end perfectly. also the blood pact was frankly a stupid ass pull but not game-ruining bad as people say

ike’s ending was NOT bad. it was beautifully done. there was literally nothing else he could have done imo. this is a man who hates the spotlight and in rd you get the feeling that he’s very tired so i wasnt surprised AT ALL w the ending. also endings with soren+ranulf were amazing!!

adding on to that, ike is gay. this is def not an uo here on tumblr but elsewhere??? its 2018 and people still genuinely believe straight men run away with twinks never to be seen again. it was a nintendo game in 2007. they’re obviously not going to outright say anything. implying it was enough unless you’re a straight boy i guess

micaiah is not… my favorite at all. i mega stan all the female lords but ive never been able to like her much because of her uber nationalism and creepy relationship with sothe. ive tried really hard because her design is god tier but no dice. i respect both the people who stan her and dislike her because they both have good points but im meh about her
